[English below]Plus fort que jamais avec un line-up stable depuis 5 ans maintenant, le power trio belge BIG FAT LUKUM a réussi à inventer son propre mélange de heavy stoner rock. Cette recette très personnelle leur a permis de partager la scène avec des légendes de la scène heavy telles que Big Business, Black Rainbows, Glowsun, Peter Pan Speedrock, Snailking, Monolord, ... et récemment avec une partie des groupes les plus en vogue de la scène internationale rock psyché fuzz sludge puisqu'ils sont le seul groupe wallon programmé au DESERTFEST Antwerp 2017. Un nouvel album intitulé« Nelson Mandala »issu de la sueur et du sang est disponible sur bandcamp et youtube depuis novembre 2017.
S'inspirant de quelque chose entre les marais brumeux de Wo Fat et les forêts scandinaves de Monolord, BIG FAT LUKUM offre son propre «chief speciality», un mélange de vieux rock poussiéreux avec un son moderne, une tendance aux gros riffs puissants et aux flux groovy même si l'atmosphère tend entre le sludge et le doom.
Chaque apparition du groupe contribue à sa réputation puisque la scène est l'endroit où vous pourrez vous rendre profiter l'écho du monde qui brûle face à face avec un brouillard intentionnel et une pression d'écrasement métallique généralisée.
[English version]Stronger than ever with a 5 year stable line-up, Belgian power trio BIG FAT LUKUM managed to inventively brew their own blend of heavyrock. This very personal recipe pushed them sharing the stage with legends of the heavy scene such as Big Business, Black Rainbows,Glowsun, Peter Pan Speedrock, Snailking and recently a part of the hottest bands from the «rock psyche fuzz sludge» international scene as they are scheduled at the DesertFest Antwerp 2017.
A new album called «Nelson Mandala» recently came out of their
sweat and blood and is available on bandcamp since november 2017.
Taking their roots from something between the foggy swamps of WoFat and the scandinavian forests of Monolord, BIG FAT LUKUM offers its own «chef speciality» made of old dusty legacy rock and modernity with a tendency for heavy powerfull riffs and groovy flow even as the atmosphere tends to be sluggish and doom.
Each apparition of the band contributes to its reputation for the stage is the secular place where you could hear the echo of the burning world putting you face to face with a deliberate mist and a metallic crushing pressure.
