🎵 HELLRIPPER (black/speed metal / Scotland / Peaceville Records)
Crowned "Scotland's King of the arcane mosh" by Metal Hammer magazine, Hellripper aims to invoke the quintessential black'n'roll sound, mixing influences from classic 80's black metal records with a more modern edge. Heavily inspired by witchcraft and the supernatural, Hellripper is also deeply rooted in its Scottish origins, using the landscape, legends and historical events as a backdrop for its lyrics and imagery. Hellripper is fast, loud and uncompromising. All hail the goat!
Hellripper is a one-man black/speed metal band formed by James McBain and based in the Scottish highlands. Formed at the end of 2014 and with the release of the debut EP 'The Manifestation of Evil' at the start of 2015, the band have made their statement clear... Total fucking mayhem!
2015 and 2016 saw the release of an EP and split EPs to positive reviews in the underground as well as the assembly of a live line-up. The band's debut album 'Coagulating Darkness' was released in 2017.
2019 saw the band release a 4-track EP and sign a deal with Peaceville Records for the release of their second album 'The Affair of the Poisons' in 2020, which again, was also released to great reviews and led to the band's first appearance on the US Billboard Charts.
Hellripper's third full-length album, 'Warlocks Grim & Withered Hags', was released in February 2023. This record is inspired by the darker side of Scottish history and folklore, with the title itself is taken from a line in the Robert Burns poem, 'Address to the Deil'.

🎵 SCHIZOPHRENIA (death/thrash metal / Antwerp)
Back in January 2020, Schizophrenia came out of nowhere with their debut EP 'Voices' to hit the extreme metal underground like a bomb. The big question was: would these youngsters from Antwerp be able to top this with their debut full-length album? Answer: Wow, hell yes!
Schizophrenia have crafted a pure death/thrash diamond on which the band is displaying everything that extreme metal has made so legendary over the past decades! On top of the uncompromising ferocity and groove of the 'Voices' EP, their debut full-length 'Recollections of the Insane', released via Redefining Darkness Records last year, is going even further in every aspect, sometimes even flirting with some melodic death/black Metal influences.
A covers EP, Chants of the Abyss, was released in February 2023.

🎵 PERKà–LATà–R (black'n'roll / Namur)
Perkölatör was formed in 2020 during a massage session by two old friends: a man who thought he was a horse and another one who wished to be an old car. D. Horse and T. Exhumator were quickly joined by drummer R. Ceross. The trio released their debut demo in April 2021. In the summer of the same year, the band gathered again in order to record four songs... that eventually became 10 tracks. So keep your ears peeled for their debut album which should be released this year!
Their lyrics are mostly about true stories, Satan, booze, poverty, dystopia, bad cars, and love.
