Daïne is a trio of ritual doom & noise trio formed in 2021 by Reshma G. (bass, machines, vocals) and Merry (drums, vocals), joined in 2023 by Syme (guitar).
The Daïnes are the witches of Mauritius. Through their practices, they emit power to make a way for the magical energy of the oppressed. Blending protest, rage, and empowerment, Daïne offers a musical ritual drenched in heaviness and psychedelia.
