Porto Geese
Biographie
Porto Geese are in a segment of their own creation on the Norwegian alternative rock scene. Joar Renolen and Bendik Øvrelid got together with some very loose thoughts on starting a band, ending up with genre bending results. It turned into a multifaceted project mixing noiserock, deathrock and industrial rock with glimpses of post-punk and shoegaze. They released their debut EP "Close" in 2020 and were soon labelled sa the new face of Norwegian deathrock. Their debut album "Duck" from 2021 did little or nothing to disclaim this. Walls of guitars, psychotic melodies and a rhythm section to crash your car to. Porto Geese is an attack on your senses and an absolute powerhouse of psychedelic madness.
