Biographie
Joining one another in the shared passion for the typical dub sound “ heavy bass lines and tight drums “ and with a background in jazz, bass player Mattias Geernaert (SUWI, Julien Firmin, Tiny Legs Tim, His Trust Fund) and drummer Marius Couvreur (Madame Blavatsky, RVB quartet) raised Kosmo Sound.
Shortly after four like minded musicians joined in: Guitarist Edmund Lauret (Nordmann, The Milk Factory, FUR), guitarist Cyriel Vandenabeele (SUWI, ELIAS, Verhalen), keyboard player Bos Debusscher (Pura Vida, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Congos) and saxophone player Ambroos De Schepper (Bandler Ching, Mà²s Ensemble, Boogie Belgique).
By putting a band together with all Ghent based underground jazz musicians Marius & Mattias were able to create a unique interpretation of the dub genre.
