Guy Verlinde & The Artisans of Solace – 50th Anniversary Tour
Over the past two decades, Guy Verlinde (°1976) has dominated the Belgian blues scene. He recorded 17 albums and played at numerous clubs & festivals where he shared the bill with greats such as B.B. King, John Fogerty, Tony Joe White, Santana, John Hiatt, Canned Heat, Jeff Beck … Guy Verlinde stands among the few Belgian blues artists who have built a solid live reputation across Europe. As a great performer, he has a unique ability to connect with his audience, always leaving them uplifted and inspired.
The Artisans of Solace are a group of top musicians with whom Guy has traveled many musical miles in the past. The rhythm section consists of bassist René Stock (Electric Kings, Last Call, …), one of the most sought-after session musicians from Wallonia and Benoit Maddens who also plays drums for top act Brihang. In addition, the two young talented instrumentalists Tom Eylenbosch (piano & banjo) and Stef Paglia of The Bluesbones (electric guitar), who are masters in colouring with sound, complete the band. A concert by The Artisans of Solace is an energetic journey, imbued with stories about love, hope and resurrection, rooted in the Blues, Roots & Americana.
